On April 19th, 2011, the missile-controlling computer system Skynet became self aware. In a bid to destroy it's creators, it launched nuclear missiles targeted at Russia. In retaliation, the Russian military fired back. 3 billion humans were killed in less than one hour. Skynet utilized 'Terminators' to hunt, collect or kill the remaining human survivors. In a bid to save the human race, a human soldier, Kyle Reese, travels back to the year 1984 to save a young woman whose son will become the biggest hope for the human race.
Of course, it's now April 20th, and that's just the plot of a movie. But what a movie it is. Let's all celebrate the fact that today is Judgement Day (according to the Terminator mythos) and watch the whole series...er, or just the first 2.
