I'm surprised by the negative buzz surrounding Green Lantern. It's cast is solid (Ryan Reynolds, Mark Strong, Geoffrey Rush), it's got a great director in Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) and the footage released so far is solid stuff. Perhaps I just don't know enough about the Green Lantern universe, but it all seems fairly great to me. This new poster (just released at Wondercon) enforces my opinion. Green Lantern looks great. Though I'd be interested to hear from someone learned in the DC character. If you are, leave a comment below! What do you think of the poster/overall look of the film?
