Sylvester Stallone confirmed to AICN today that Thomas Jane (The Punisher, Boogie Nights, The Mist) has joined the cast for his upcoming actioner, Headshot. To be directed by Walter Hill, the film tells the story of a cop and a hitman who must team up to bring down a common enemy.
It's late at night and I've just read this, so I'll just say this; Headshot is being directed by one of the best directors working today. Hill is responsible for The Warriors, Red Heat, Last Man Standing and 48Hrs. As well as some of the best episodes of HBO's Tales From The Crypt. We all know and love Stallone, so I'll skip that part and praise the latest casting of Thomas Jane. Jane has a fantastic presence and wonderful range as an actor, so I can't wait for this. Simple put, I'm expecting a 5-star action thriller. Show 'em how it's done, lads.
