Although he's been away for a while - preoccupied with a baby and unbelievably good looking wife - Orlando Bloom is making his way back to Hollywood. It's a pretty safe bet we'll see him as Goody Two Shoes The Elf again in The Hobbit, but Variety are reporting he's lined up for a romantic comedy too, Lola Versus.In what sounds like a vehicle for Greta Gerwig (fresh from being terrible in Arthur), Bloom will play an unspecified role in the film about a jilted young bride who sets out to find herself before she turns thirty. I highly doubt they'd hire someone as big as Bloom to do the jilting, so it's a safe bet he'll be a romantic interest. As one of the few people on Earth who enjoyed Elizabethtown, this might turn out to be quite good and a better fit for Bloom than another swords & sandals movie. He's also a much bigger star than Gerwig is, so it's a wonder how they're going to market it.
On a side note, I would go see a movie called Lola Vs Hobbit any day.
