Ethan Hawke, star of Before Sunset and Training Day has just joined the remake of the 1990 sci-fi flick, Total Recall. Hawke joins the previously cast Colin Farrell and Bryan Cranston, whom play the hero and villain of the piece. Ditching the Mars storyline, Total Recall '12 will take place in Euromerica and New Shanghai, futuristic nations home to Douglas Quaid (Farrell). Quaid is a factory worker who begins to believe he is an undercover spy, but he can't remember which side he works for. Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale are currently in talks to star and Len Wiseman (Die Hard 4) is directing.
