With that comes news via /film of the release of both Hobbit movies, along with their official titles.The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be released December 14 2012, and almost exactly a year after on December 13 2013, The Hobbit: There And Back Again will hit cinemas. Not exactly the most exciting or original titles, but what were you expecting? "Lord of the Rings: Episode 1"? Both are set sixty years before the trilogy, with a litany of castmembers returning alongside Martin Freeman as young Bilbo Baggins.
