Shaun Levy doesn't have the most stellar record (being generous) when it comes to franchises. Not only has he given the world one of the Pink Panther movies, he's also responsible for the unquestionably terrible Night At The Museum franchise...........so it's with some trepidation that we look to his new movie, Reel Steel. Starring Hugh Jackman, it's a family sports movie set in a world where people don't box, they get robots to do it for them. So there are plenty of inevitable 'Transformers meets Rocky' comparisons but to be fair, this does look like it might be decent. The effects are certainly topnotch, and Hugh Jackman looks on top form. You can check out the trailer below - personally I think they're being clever not releasing it in the summer, it would get lost amongst the superheroes.
