Matt Reeves continues his quest for Hollywood domination, as Deadline reports the Cloverfield director has signed yet another deal with Summt Entertainment; this time to adapt the novel This Dark Endeavor: The Apprenticeship Of Victor Frankenstein. The novel tells the story of the titular doctor, on an adventure with his best friend Elizabeth, to find an old alchemist whom he hopes will help him produce the Elixir of Life, a potion that will save his dying brother.
Fox 2000 has also struck a deal with Reeves to direct yet another vampire flick, The Passage. While over at Universal, he's locked in to write and direct an adaptation of 8 O' Clock In The Morning. I sense Reeves is becoming a bit like Guillermo Del Toro, in that he'll have a 100 projects in the air at any one time.
