As inevitable as this is, I don't think you can even classify it as news. The Wrap is reporting that Craig Mazin has been hired by Warner Bros. to scribe the threequel to the soon-to-be billion dollar comedy franchise. Mazin, who wrote The Hangover Part II alongside Scot Armstrong, previous credits include Scary Movie 3 and it's sequel Scary Movie 4 (such great credentials there, Mazin).
So, are you excited for a third installment of debauchery and alcohol-fueled sordid behavior? If the makers of Part III don't heavily deviate from the formula of the first two, then I don't see a point. The second is, technically, one of the worst sequels in existence; in that it doesn't add anything to the plate, it's a carbon-copy of the original and the characters make no advancement.
