Acclaimed a director as he is, Jim Sheridan’s last few movies (In America, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, Brothers) haven’t exactly set the world alight. So it’s good to see he’s trying something completely different with house-horror Dream House. The cast is excellent, featuring Mr & Mrs. James Bond and Naomi Watts. The trailer, which seems to be pretty revealing, shows a movie that basically looks like The Amityville Shining but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
