Django Unchained is looking like one of Tarantino’s more star-studded movies, with the news that Kevin Costner is joining Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Christoph Waltz in the ‘Southern’ slavery story.
Although he’s Mr. Nice Guy, Costner will be playing a slave trader this time in cahoots with Leonardo DiCaprio’s evil plantation owner, Candie. I’ve always liked Costner despite his often dubious choices. It could be somewhat of a comeback for him knowing how Tarantino can revive the careers of once-huge moviestars – plus in the same month, he’ll be seen on screen as Pa Kent in Superman.
Did you know Costner developed a machine to sift through oil spills that BP bough for 16 million dollars? That certainly makes up for any crap movies.
