This film, I like it! ANOTHER!
I’m sorry, that was just impossible to resist. But good news for fans of Marvel’s god-hero, for he’ll return in all his Asgardian glory in 2013 – July 26th to be exact.
The movie has done decent business for Marvel, with 450+ million a good intake for a film considered a tough sell. And I’m not surprised – it was great fun all round with a great cast. Sadly, Kenneth Branagh will not return to direct (it was amicable apparently, and he’ll still produce) so who would you like to take the helm? Shane Black was a great choice for Iron Man 3, so hopefully Marvel won’t be thinking along the lines of Brett Ratner. No no. Chris Hemsworth will return but no word on the rest of the cast – I’m sure most of them are bound to multiple film contracts so we should expect to see Natalie Portman, Stellan Sarsgaard, Anthony Hopkins and Kat Dennings return in some capacity.
