Fans were generally relieved when David O. Russell dropped out of Uncharted and apparently took Mark Wahlberg with him, leaving the game adaptation open to new hands, hopefully more keen on keeping the core elements of the videogame story.
Now slashfilm report that Limitless director Neil Burger is writing and directing the adventure movie. Will Wahlberg stay? Doubtful. Will the Russell script remain? Not a chance. The action-adventure movie is now again in active development, and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes of it – Limitless was good fun.
