Well, I should say ‘possible’ Bond details emerge but quite often ‘alleged’ ‘tentative’ and ‘potential’ news stories found across the web can have in them some juicy stuff. As may be the case here, with some pretty nifty news on the next Bond film, due out next year, emerging.
Slashfilm and Bleeding Cool are both going SPECULATION CRAZY and suggesting that the new movie will go by the name of Carte Blanche. Eh…ok…well it’s better than Quantum of Solace I guess and Casino Royale is pretty hard to top, so I’ll take that.
The title has plenty of meaning too – it was the name of the most recent Bond novel and one which features Bond in Serbia initially, going toe-to-toe with an Irish bad guy on a train. It might seem a bit odd that they’d adapt such a recent novel, but as you can read here, the production team have been looking for somewhere to shoot a big train sequence, saying even that ‘trains are the backbone of the film"’. INTERESTING.
Bond 23 officially has no title but will be released in October 2012 in the UK and November in the US. Confirmed cast alongside Craig are Judi Dench and Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, with Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz all rumoured as villains. And what about his toys? Conveniently, Aston Martin have recently released their new One-77, which can be yours for a snip at roughly £1,050,000 (and there are only 77). Perfect car for Mr. Bond to chase trains with then, wouldn’t you say?
