For those excited for Die Hard 5 (er, those one or two people?), some new details have emerged online over at Twitch. If the fifth entry in the series actually comes to pass (it's been in on and off for over a year now), we could be seeing legendary bad-ass John McClane kicking ass all over Russia. Yes, the next Die Hard could be an international affair. The plot allegedly involves McClane and his son visiting Russia for some reason, where they'll be caught up in some good ole' fashioned terrorist's plot.
Additionally, Twitch notes that Irish director John Moore has been tapped to direct the sequel. While he's not signed on in an official capacity, they say the project is essentially his if he wants it.
Is Moore a step up from Len Wiseman, whom directed Die Hard 4? I'm not so sure myself, as Moore credential's aren't exactly inspiring and his reputation as a studio executive-pleaser could mean Die Hard 5 will be a bland, uninteresting mess.
But let's not get too negative yet, shall we?
