It’s a shame Kenneth Branagh isn’t staying on for Marvel’s God sequel, as he managed to bring a difficult franchise to life and everything managed to gel brilliantly. He’s staying as an exec producer, but now we already have news on who is taking the big chair.
Showblitz are reporting that Brian Kirk is in negotiations to take the role – who, you say? Well, he’s never done a blockbuster before but he has directed a few episodes of that little Game of Thrones show, along with Boardwalk Empire and Dexter. Sounds promising……..Thor 2 will be released July 26th 2013 with the main cast presumably all returning.
