
300 and P.S. I Love You actor Gerard Butler has revealed that he was twice hit by stray bullets during the filming of his new movie, Machine Gun Preacher. The Telegraph quoted the Scottish actor “A shell hit me, slit my head, it was pouring with blood. About 20 minutes later, we went again and another shell hit me! Within half an inch of the first one."
Machine Gun Preacher is based on the true story of Sam Childers, a drug addicted ex-con, who after finding God established a shelter for child soldiers in the Sudan. The movie, directed by Marc Foster (Qunatum of Solace, Monster’s Ball) is due for release on the 18th of November.
