FIRST LOOK AT DARK SHADOWS CAST

In a swift bit of damage control (if you didn't see the leaked photo of Johnny Depp, well, good for you), Warner Bros. have released the first still from Tim Burton's upcoming campy horror, Dark Shadows. Based on the original Television show, the plot sees Barnabus Collins (Depp), a young wealthy playboy in Collinwood Manor in 1752, who is turned into a vampire by a scorned lover and buried alive. He awakes is 1972 to find the Collinwood estate in turmoil as a strange and secretive family have taken over. In the photo you can see Depp as well as co-stars Chloe Moretz, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jackie Earle Haley, Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Lee Miller.

I'm not blown away by the image, but it does inspire hope that this will be more Sleepy Hollow than Alice In Wonderland.
