It's certainly possible. Ice Cube has been in talks with director John Singleton about a biopic for the big-league late 80's rap group, N.W.A. The director, whose previous work includes 2 Fast 2 Furious, Boyz N The Hood and the new thriller Abduction, spoke recently at a press conference, "I can’t talk about it too prematurely about the stuff I’m doing because nothing’s come to fruition yet, but Cube and I are talking about doing the N.W.A. story. The script is really, really good, and so we’re just figuring it out. New Line really wants to make it.”
If the biopic gets off the ground, Ice Cube will produce while Singleton directs. The current screenplay is written by Andrea Berloff, Alan Wenkus, S. Leigh Savidge and Matt Alvarez.
