Despite hearing that Christopher McQuarrie's script for The Wolverine was fantastic, it seems 20th Century Fox is unhappy with at least part of it. Mark Bomback, whose previous credits include Die Hard 4, Race To Witch Mountain and the upcoming Total Recall, has been hired by the studio to rewrite the script in time for it's start date next year. No word on how much of McQuarrie's script will survive, but I suspect it's going to be radically different (so that Fox can get the production going).
