Many of you don't know the name, but you've probably seen the face. Cliff Robertson, who most recently played Uncle Ben in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, has passed away aged 88. Robertson dabbled in both Television and Film, starring in such shows as The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits and Batman. His film credits include the previously mentioned Spider-Man, Escape From L.A., PT-109 (where he played a young John F. Kennedy) and Charly, for which he won an Academy Award for best actor in a leading role.
For me, Robertson will always be remembered for giving the very poignant speech to Toby Maguire's Peter Parker in Spider-Man. Check it out below.
