John Cusack has joined the cast of upcoming thriller The Numbers Station. The film, being directed by Kasper Barfoed and based on a script by F. Scott Frazier, has been in development for a number of years, with Ethan Hawke being touted to star and produce at one stage. However it would appear that Cusack has taken the lead role of a disgraced CIA agent, left with the deadend job of protecting a code expert in an isolated desert station. Watchmen's Malin Akerman is set to play aforementioned expert.
While a number of his recent efforts haven't been great, it's always good to see Cusack on screen, and with this and the upcoming "The Raven" we'll be seeing plenty more of him.
