Clearly not happy with having any free time, it looks like Joss Whedon has someh
ow managed to take on another project while filming The Avengers. Rumours started to appear online last night with tweets from regular Whedon collaborators Nathan Fillion and The Avengers’ Clark Gregg, linking to the website http://muchadothemovie.com/.
There's not much information on the site other than a list of actors involved in the project, a who's who of actors from all of Whedon's previous projects and confirmation, if any was needed, that it's "A Film By Joss Whedon. Based On A Play." The full list of actors named includes Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Tom Lenk, Ashley Johnson, Fran Kranz, Reed Diamond, Sean Maher, Riki Lindhome, Clark Gregg, BriTANick comedy duo Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney, Jillian Morgese, Paul M. Meston, Emma Bates, Romy Rosemont, Spencer Treat Clark and Joshua Zar.
Quite how Whedon managed to a) pull this off, and b) keep it quiet while filming The Avenger's is anyone's guess. It's impressive to say the least. No word yet on a potential release date, but with so much riding on Marvel's mega project, it could be a while before we see it on screen.
