Bret McKenzie, better known for being one half of the hilarious Flight of the Conchords duo but also know for his small role as an elf in the Lord of the Rings.
"I’ve got a proper name this time: Lindir. In the book he was a musical elf. This time, if I make the edit, I'll speak in Elvish. But I don’t sing."
Here is what he had to say on his wardrobe for the movie. “It was great to get my pointy ears back on. It’s in 3D, so the ears will be extra pointy. You’ll be able to touch the ears." Also on removing his beard for the role “I look like I’m 12. I look much more like a girl in The Hobbit. I look like a hot girl." Judging by the picture I am sure he is not too far off the mark!
Lord of the Rings fans, myself included still have some time to wait for the much anticipated movie adaptation, The Hobbit. It is looking like there will be plenty to look forward to come December 13th 2013.
