You might not know the name, but you soon will. Australian actor Joel Edgerton (The Square, The Thing) is currently in talks for the lead in Warner Bros' 300: Battle Of Artemisia. The studio has offered the actor the role of Themosticles, a Greek general who led his army in defense of the Persian invasion of 480BC. Zack Snyder (director of the original film) and Kurt Johnstad have finished the script which is based on the forthcoming Frank Miller comic book. 300: Battle of Artemisia will be directed by Noam Murro.
