Reports in Hollywood suggest that Drew Barrymore has signed on to direct When The Street Lights Go On. It is a coming of age drama set in the 1980’s in the same spirit as the classic Stand By Me, it is written by Eddie O’Keefe and Chris Hutton. The story sees a teenage boy discovering the bodies of a 17 year old girl and her teacher whom she was having an affair with, the lead character Charlie tries to figure out who did it. Currently Barrymore is linked with a few projects such as Heist Society and also How To Be Single fom New Line Studios, Seems she is in for a busy 2013.
