Music biopics haven't had a bad history. Walk The Line and Ray spring to mind as quite the success. So here's an exclusive clip from The Day The Music Died which does look rather promising.
Synopsis:
THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED, the film that explores the pathos of rock legend Buddy Holly in a surreal, modern-day setting, releases two new film clips in anticipation of the film's official teaser release on 5 Dec 2011. Starring newcomers Guy Kent as the re-imagined Holly and Paige Segal as his fictional muse Peggy Sue, the film also stars 5-time EMMY® nominee Harold Gould, Mariana Campos, Jon Morgan Woodward, and Anastasia Lofgren. Directed by Bruno Miotto and produced by Film Shelf Entertainment's Ryan Kai.
