The Guard Nominated For Film Of The Year

Things just keep getting better for The Guard. Director John Michael McDonagh’s comedy hit has been nominated in the British Film of the Year category of the London Critic’s Circle Film Awards 2011. It’s quite an achievement for the film, up against heavyweights such as Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Michael Fassbender’s upcoming Shame. The Guard has also been nominated in the Breakthrough British Filmmaker category.
