Fresh from starring as Watson in BBC’S second season of Sherlock, we have a new pic from the upcoming Hobbit movie. Bilbo is seen here with his sword made by the elves along with Gandalph’s chosen blade. Freeman’s portrayal of Bilbo Baggins looks to be a more swash buckling type than fans have seen in the lord of the rings trilogy. It is the same blade pictured here that Frodo uses in his adventures throughout the trilogy. According to Empire this could be a still from a scene in which Bolbo names his sword, which he calls Sting,( probably not due to the fact that he’s a fan of the Geordie singer). The Hobbit is due to be released later in the year.
