Get The Gringo or to give it, its other title How I Spent My Summer Vacation sees Mel Gibson as a career criminal who ends up in a Mexican prison. Gibson is due a big time comeback (which to be fair, started with The Beaver), and while this might be a smaller movie he certainly looks on top form here. The trailer alone is worth a watch for the brilliant narration. Sadly our American friends won’t see Mel Gibson’s latest offering on the bigscreen as it is heading for the Video On Demand services in the US on May 1st.
On this side of the pond, Lionsgate have plans to release it on May 11th, on a big screen, we’re presuming.
