Rumours continue to circulate regarding the upcoming Robocop Reboot, latest news is that Nick Schenk will be looking after the screenplay. His previous high profile role was for the Clint Eastwood picture, Gran Torino. Director Jose Padilha is adding to his crew and has collaborated with Schenk previously on a yet to be produced project, Tri-Border. Previously it was reported that Josh Zetumer was in line for the screen play but that now seems unlikely. Although the director would seem to favour Michael Fassbender for the lead role as the tin man as he is rightly regarded as very hot property. The project has undergone many obstacles in recent months, with first choice director Darren Aronofsky pulling out as well as other production issues culminating in huge delays. MGM Studios hope to start Shooting in the summer and we will be waiting as the reboot in action heroes sets to continue.
