First look at Joseph Gordon Levitt as a young Bruce Willis in Looper

Looper, the upcoming action thriller from Brick writer/director Rian Johnson, finds Joseph Gordon Levitt's Joe making his living as a 'looper', a hired gun used by the mob in the future to assassinate targets they send to the present. When he outlives his usefulness, they decide to 'close the loop' by making his next target his future self (Bruce Willis). As concepts go it's pretty high, but it sounds just crazy enough to be really fun. It's also reminiscent of the long in development, and by now probably dead, Mel Gibson vehicle Gemini, which switched out time travel for cloning.

New pictures have surfaced showing Levitt in action, sporting facial prosthetics to make him better resemble Willis.
