Announced recently as the newest project for Battle: LA and Wrath Of The Titans director Jonathan Liebesman, the live action reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been given a release date when Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies will reach cinemas Christmas Day of 2013. Nothing much has been said of the new project since it's announcement, but I expect we will start to hear more details soon as the project kicks into high gear. I can't wait for this. The Heroes in a Half Shell have a special place in my heart, having grown up on a steady diet of TMNT cartoons, toys, computer games, and the original live action movies. It is expected this new movie will lead to another resurrection of the franchise, hoping for better success after the last attempt, an animated feature was released in 2007.
Also announced were two release changes: Tom Cruise's One Shot, an adaption of the Lee Child novel, originally to be released February 8th 2013, was put forward to December 21st 2012, taking the slot of the Brad Pitt starring World War Z. The zombie apocalypse adventure is being pushed back 6 months to a June 21st 2013 release date.
