Based on the graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux (fans of the Underworld movies will know him as Raze, the bad ass second in command of the werewolf clan), I, Frankenstein is a very take on the familiar tale of Frankenstein's monster. Written and directed by Stuart Beattie, the movie is set in modern day, and sees the creature, Adam, caught up in a war between two clans of immortals.
Courtesy of photographer Pablo Hassan, pictures have surfaced giving us our first behind the scenes look at Aaron Eckhart as Adam, who I have to say looks quite impressive. Filming is currently taking place in Mellbourne, where, reported by The Herald Sun, the set was recently thrashed by hooligans. It is not known how this has affected production.
Also starring Miranda Otto, Bill Nighy, and Yvonne Strahovski, the movie is currently set for a worldwide 22nd February 2013 release.
