Oliver Stone’s next flick, Savages has got itself a poster, which is rather clever. It seems to have a bucket full of influences in each panel. I don’t know about you but I can see a little of Stone’s 1997 flick, U-Turn in there and of course seeing Thurman and Travolta together again, instantly brings up thoughts of that Tarantino movie. There is a fantastic cast here including Taylor Kitsch, Salma Hayek, Emile Hirsch, Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass), Benicio Del Toro as well as the aforementioned Pulp Fiction alumni. That said, with such an epically large and talented cast, it remains to be seen what Stone can get out of them, unless there’s a running time of 4 hours! Either way, watch this space!
