Filming is currently taking on Sacha Gervasi's Hitchcock, an adaption of the self explanatory titled book Alfred Hitchcock And The Making Of Psycho, and the first photo has hit showing off Anthony Hopkins as the title character, striking a very familiar pose.
Hitchcock's speech, dry humour, and over all presence is very well known, and Hopkins has shown before that he can really get inside a character (Richard Nixon is one of my favorite roles of his). His performance in this film promises to be something special.
Helen Mirren stars as his wife Alma Reville, and it's their relationship during the making of Psycho in 1959 that is the main focus of the film. Scarlett Johansson also stars as actress Janet Leigh, best known for her part in the film's iconic shower scene, and James D'Arcy as Psycho's lead actor, Anthony Perkins. No concrete release has being given for Hitchcock, but it is expected sometime in 2013.
