I'm a big kid at heart, and I love the short cartoons before most kids cartoons in the cinema's. Ican't explain it, there is just something them. Disney and Pixar have always done it, Warner Bros. are back doing Looney Tunes shorts for their kids movies, and now it seems Fox are jumping on the bandwagon, debuting a new The Simpsons short in front of Ice Age 4 this summer. Nothing much is know about it, other than the name and that it will focus on Maggie Simpson, since the announcement trailer is just that, an announcement. I would be very surprised if it wasn't done in the style of the T.V. show.
If this proves popular, it's more than likely it will lead to more shorts on future Fox releases.
