I recently caught up with Jason Segel to talk about The Five Year Engagement, and he also spoke, albeit briefly, about The End Of The World, which is Seth Rogen’s directorial debut. Starring everyone from Segel himself to Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Rihanna, James Franco and Jonah Hill, the movie tells the story of a bunch of celebs attending a party in Franco’s house. All goes well until the celebs are faced with the apocalypse. This could be absolutely epic! Especially as everyone is playing themselves.
The Muppets star said “I’ve never seen anything like it, I think it’s going to be an amazing film and I couldn’t be more proud of Seth”. When asked about gore and dismemberment Jason said “I don’t want to give too much away, but I was bloody for alot of the shooting”
The End Of The World is due for release on June 14th 2013 Stateside and Irish and UK cinemas get it on June 21st.
