Having already given us two sequels to Toy Story, Pixar are giving the prequel treatment to another of their beloved properties: Monsters Inc. The first teaser for Monsters University has hit, which finds Mike and Sully in, you guessed, college, learning the ropes when it comes to scaring kids.
I love Monsters Inc, and that love has endured thanks to my son putting it on loop when ever he gets the chance. I can't wait for the return of James P. Sullivan, Mike Wazowski, and the gang.
Directed by Dan Scanlon (co-director on Cars short Mater And The Ghost Light), the film will see most of the original voice cast return, including Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Frank Oz, and Steve Buscemi. They will be joined by Ken Jeong, Robb Riggle and Kelsey Grammer, taking over the role of Mr. Waternews from the sadly departed James Coburn.
Synopsis: A look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at the University of Fear -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends.
