Pretty much as synonymous with the James Bond franchise as Bond, beloved gadget master Q has been absent since Daniel Craig started brandishing the Walter PPK, but now he's to make his triumphant return in Skyfall, played by Ben Whishaw (Perfume). The first image of the new Q has hit, reminding me slightly of Moss from the IT Crowd. But in a good way.
The franchise has lost some of its humor since Craig started playing Bond, so hopefully Whishaw can bring back some of the fun back. Q's scenes with Bond, berating him like a school headmaster soon became the highlight of every Bond film for me, I can't wait to see them return.
Synopsis: Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
Released: 26th October IRE & UK / 9 November USA
Source: Coming Soon
