No, not the runtime of The Dark Knight Rises, but rather the amount of time separating our eyes from viewing Django Unchained high and wide on the big screen. We at The Movie Bit, for lack of more articulate vernacular, Cannot. Fucking. Wait. for this piece of cinema to hit the multiplexes and have been salivating repeatedly over every trailer QT has bestowed upon us.
The salivation is not about to stop anytime soon with the release of the latest 60 second spot from Tarantino’s southern tale of bounty hunting bad asses Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) and Django’s (Jamie Foxx) search for his wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington).
While there’s not a whole lot new here, we do get a proper glimpse at Samuel L. Jackson’s character, Stephen, the house slave of, plantation-owning prick, Calvin Candie (Leonardo diCaprio). Although the Yanks will get to see this at Christmas time, we, on this side of the Atlantic, will get to feast our eyes on Tarantino’s first explicit venture into the Western genre in January of next year.
