Jeff Wadlow's comic book sequel is currently set for a September start date, and another new character is close to been cast, joining Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Christopher Mitz-Plasse, and other new comer John Leguizamo. Donald Faison, best known as Turk from t.v.'s Scrubs, is negotiations to play Dr. Gravity, an ally of the titular vigilante and member of Justice Forever, a super hero team thats a thinly veiled dig at The Avengers and Justice League.
Based in part on the Kick-Ass 2 comic book and it's prequel series Hit Girl, the sequel promises more of what made the first movie great, but on a much bigger scale, so expect super heroe/super villain smackdowns, insane amounts of violence and gore, and the same pitch black humor.
