Michael Fassbender is going from strength to strength at the moment. The star who is currently shooting The Counselor with Ridley Scott and Brad Pitt,is now officially attached to Lenny Abrahamson’s next project called Frank. Written by Jon Ronson (The Men Who Stare At Goats) and Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) tells the story of a young wannabe musician called Jon (Domhnall Gleeson), who joins an eccentric pop band that's led by the enigmatic Frank (Fessbender). Abrahamson previous work includes Adam and Paul and the brilliant Garage. Fassbender is a serious coup to have on board and its a great proving ground for Gleeson as well, given how much spotlight Fassbender brings to a film these days and obviously shows that smaller independent films still raise his considerably large mast!
Frank, will start principal photography later this year.
