Tom Hardy star is continuously on the way up, in more ways than one. The Inception star is in negotiations to star as George Mallory who set out to become the first man to scale Everest in 1920. Tragically though, after a number of failed attempts Mallory went up again in 1924 and unfortunately never came back down. His body was found in 1999 at the summit. It still remains unknown whether or not he made it as the photo of his wife he took with him was never found.
