He's best known for playing the absolute bad ass Agent Coulson in Iron Man, Thor, and The Avengers, but Clark Gregg is also an accomplished director and writer, having written and directed 2008's Choke, starring Sam Rockwell, and provided the screenplay for super natural thriller What Lies Beneath. Now he's at it again, his second feature at the pen and helm with dark comedy Trust Me. Set in the world of child stars, it follows an agent, who has seen better days, stumbling across a child prodigy, and the trails he goes through trying to secure a deal to make her a mega star, including dealing with her drunken father, and poaching attempts from a more successful rival. Sounds like a twisted version of Michael J. Fox's Give Me A Break.
Filming began at the end of September, with Willaim H. Macy, Amanda Peet, Allison Janney, Sam Rockwell, and Molly Shannon among the members of cast.
