Reports are starting to materialise that Disney are to buy Lucasfilm. More on this as we get it, but that’d certainly be some purchase. The house of the mouse have only recently acquired Marvel and now, potentially Lucasfilm could make for some interesting news days ahead. As I said, more as we get it.
There’s quite alot of history to Lucasfilm, originally founded in 1971 by George Lucas who is currently the co-chairman as well as CEO. Potentially another sign that Lucas is wanting more and more of the quiet life. And while that makes me a wee bit sad, best of luck to him.
