Here is one of those movies that you hear about and you kinda have to see it as soon as it comes out. 'Under The Skin' is about an alien named Isserley (Johansson) who is sent to Earth by a rich corporation on her planet to pick up unwary hitchikers. She drugs them and delivers them to her compatriots, who mutilate and
fatten her victims so that they can be turned into meat—human ("vodsel")
flesh is a delicacy on the aliens' barren homeworld. I think this sounds pretty cool, a little weird maybe but a little weird ain't a bad thing. The film is currently being shot in Scotland where it is also based. No release date has been set but it should be out later this year or early 2013.
