It seems like a long time since we had a good disaster movie, so Nicolas Lopez's Aftershock is rushing in to fill that gap. Co-written, produced and starring Eli Roth as one of a group of survivors of an earthquake in Chile, it promises the insane amount of gore we have come to associate with the man who brought us Hostel, but judging by the trailer, it should also provide some interesting and tense moments as we see the worst of human nature creep it's way to surface in the groups quest for survival.
The movie is slated for release next year, but no concrete date has been given yet.
