Another day, another remake, this time it’s the turn of 1980’s Maniac, which had a bit of a ratings battle with classification offices (or censors office way back when) back in the day. Elijah Wood plays the owner of a mannequin shop who develops a bit of a dodgy obsession with a young artist. It’s somewhat of a different role for Wood as we’ve become more accustomed to him being about 4 foot tall and not shaving his feet for the last decade. The first six minutes (in first person mode too) are below and provide a creepy glimpse of whats to come when the movie arrives on this side of the pond on March 15th.
