We’ve been sent 2 new clips for A Good Day To Die Hard as well as a behind the scenes video. On one of the clips “Car Chase” the audio is out of sync (at least from where I’m sitting) so if it’s out of sync on your side, then…well…um…either way you’ll get the drift of the insane action. We've since highlighted the issue to 20 Century Fox who will send on the clip again once it's fixed. So check back and when we get it we'll stick it up.
The other clip though highlights a problem…for me at least. And it’s a continuity / editing problem which is pretty damn obvious. It happens when Bruce and Jai break free and make it to the other side of the room and shoot out the glass roof. Specifically it’s the part where they run across the room, they seem to be more than halfway across from the moment they jump up. And while it’s a small thing, it’s still bloody noticeable. I wonder how many takes it took to get this one right, it looks pretty straightforward but something seems to have got lost in the edit suite…possibly an editor. I just wonder if something like this slipped through the cracks is it a sign of things to come?
And finally we have a behind the scenes featurette which has Bruce being Bruce and tonnes of crazy action.
Synopsis: Bruce Willis returns in his most iconic role as John McClane - the "real" hero with the skills and attitude to always be the last man standing. This time the take-no-prisoners cop is really in the wrong place at the wrong time after traveling to Moscow to help his estranged son Jack. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover that their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.
Released: 14 February 2013 from Twentieth Century Fox.
